"If all of life
It is my goal, over time, to build a list of physicians/ services that will come to people's homes who cannot get into the office. This will be a very slow process I am sure, but I know how invaluable it is to me to know that there are people available to come to the house should I need treatment. PLEASE, if you have any information to add to this list please contact me so I can add it. It does not matter where you live or what the service is. Maybe in time we can have our own "Angie's List" for in -home services! In-home services enable people to remain independent as well as help to avoid ER visits and hospital stays.
The first place that I have come across is like a little bit of gold....It is from the American Academy of Home Care Physicians. You can pick your state and see if there are any providers in your area. The link is:
** Just a quick note.. If you are really stuck and can't get to a doctor you might try calling your local nursing homes and see what physicians visit them and perhaps one of those doctors might come to you. It has worked for me in the past...**
